Weeks after the world woke up to the news of the shocking demise of Bettie Jennifer, wife of Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh in New York, the US Police has named the actor as a suspect.

According to the spokesperson for the police agency in the Washington D.C, George Matthews, Chris Attoh is being investigated in the murder of his 44 year-old wife, Bettie Jenifer.

He intimated that the police are investigating Chris Arkoh for a tweet he made hours before his sweetheart was murdered in cold blood by an unidentified gunman.

“When it comes to relationships, remaining faithful is never an option but a priority. Loyalty is ever…,” Chris Attoh’s tweet reads “

George Matthews reveal that Chris Attoh is fully cooperating with investigations as the police seeks to bring the culprit to book.

Bettie Jenifer, a mother-of-twins was brutally murdered on May 10 in front of about 10 witnesses.

According to reports, she left the office in the 6300 block of Ivy Lane and was walking to her car when a man armed with a handgun approached her.

When she tried to run away, the man followed her and fired at her multiple times, with at least one shot hitting her.

Even though he has not been found, Maryland police have contacted cartographers to draw an image of the face of the killer based on the descriptions given by witnesses.

According to reports, the murderer is “a black male with a thin build and black hair, wearing a dark shirt and pants.”

Days after her death, it was revealed that the deceased was actually married to one Kendrick Jenifer who is currently in jail over drug-related issues.

Reports say Kendrick had threatened Bettie Jenifer after seeing wedding photographs of his estranged wife and Attoh.
